Staff U Need was established in August 1995.

Staff U Need has serviced its clients in the power generation industry since 1995.

Staff U Need was registered with ESKOM as a black economic empowerment company and strived to meet all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Staff U Need was purchased by the Adcorp Group in 2008 and is thus part of a leading BBBEE company listed on the JSE Limited.

Services Provided

Staff U Need provides two types of services as follows:

Contract Staff/Temporary Staff

Staff U Need recruits and employs specific staff required by the client and performs the role of their employer.

Staff U Need strives to partner with clients and help them reach their goals and objectives. In order to achieve this, Staff U Need remains flexible and innovates new service channels to meet specific needs.

Staff U Need ensures that all contributions and benefits are paid as stipulated by the Department of Labour or applicable governing bargaining council or employer's organisation.

Permanent Placements

Staff U Need recruits, selects and places staff for permanent positions based on the client’s requirements. Staff U Need uses various media, including the internet and print media advertising, to recruit staff. We then test, interview and run background checks on all candidates in compliance with procedure. Staff U Need charges its Clients a preapproved placement fee for this service.

Reputability

Staff U Need meets all applicable legal requirements in terms of the Labour Relations Act (including the Bargaining Council), Workmen’s Compensation Act, Skills Development Act, Receiver of Revenue and Unemployment Insurance.

Staff U Need has successfully serviced many of its clients since it opened in 1995 and would be happy to provide any future clients with references on request.

Strategic Alliance

Staff U Need is part of the Adcorp Group and is able to draw on specialists and resources when necessary. Adcorp has strategically positioned itself as the leader in its industry. The Adcorp Group currently holds the status of most Black Economic Empowered company listed on the JSE Limited.

Recruitment

In order to be of the best possible service to our clients, Staff U Need understands the importance of making sure we put the correct candidate in each position. Because of our ISO 9001: 2008 listing we have strong policies and procedures in place that we follow for the recruitment of each candidate.

Corporate Social Investment

A recent Staff U Need initiative was the training of, and the skills transfer to, a number of potential artisans.

Staff U Need believes that investment in the skills of local community is extremely important and will continue to search for avenues where the company can give something back to those who are close to Staff U Need.

Skills Plan

Staff U Need trains and provides opportunities for itself staff to better improve their skills, allowing them to grow within the organisation.

We train artisans and uplift our current staff via specific learnerships.
